Anna Topi – Physical Therapist

With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University, Dr. Anna Topi, PT, DPT, is passionate about helping people build strong, resilient bodies so they can stay active and enjoy the things they love. A former college hockey player and strength-training enthusiast, Anna understands the demands of an active lifestyle and believes physical therapy should be about more than simply getting out of pain: it’s about building strength, confidence, and long-term resilience.

Anna especially enjoys working with postpartum and prenatal women, helping expecting and new moms reconnect with their core, regain strength, and navigate pregnancy- and postpartum-related aches and pains. She also works with women through perimenopause and menopause, with a focus on maintaining strength, supporting bone health, and preventing injuries.

Her experience also includes working with athletes of all levels, particularly hockey players and barbell athletes, as well as individuals managing low back or neck pain while balancing an active lifestyle with a more sedentary job. Anna enjoys helping patients develop practical movement habits and strategies that fit into their everyday lives.

She also has a passion for working with older adults to improve balance, strength, and functional movement, helping them reduce fall risk, maintain independence, and continue participating in the activities that matter most to them.

Outside of the clinic, Anna enjoys spending time with her family and doing pottery in her free time.

Stosh Schelske – Physical Therapist

Dr. Stosh Schelske, PT, DPT, earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University and joined Metro-Strength with a simple goal: help people feel better, move with confidence, and get back to the activities that matter to them. He enjoys getting to know his patients, understanding what they want to accomplish, and creating a plan that fits their individual needs. For Stosh, physical therapy is an opportunity to not only address pain, but also give people the knowledge and confidence to take control of their health.

A big part of his approach is helping people develop a healthier relationship with movement and exercise. He works with individuals who are already active but may be dealing with aches and pains, as well as those looking to become more active and build healthier habits. Stosh emphasizes education throughout the process, helping patients understand why they are doing something and how they can carry those strategies into their everyday lives. He knows that making changes can be challenging, and believes having the right support can make those changes more achievable and sustainable.

Stosh also enjoys working with athletes, particularly golfers, overhead athletes, and recreational adult league players. Whether the goal is returning to a sport, improving performance, or simply continuing to do the activities they enjoy, he works to understand the demands of each individual and help them feel prepared for what comes next.

One of Stosh’s favorite parts of physical therapy is seeing someone realize that they are capable of more than they thought. Age, previous injuries, or time away from exercise don’t have to prevent someone from making meaningful changes. Meeting people where they are and helping them take that next step is what makes the work rewarding for him.

Outside of the clinic, Stosh enjoys rollerblading, backpacking, and spending time with friends.

Specialties: Golfers & golf-related injuries • Overhead athletes • Recreational & adult league athletes • Active individuals with aches & pains • Exercise & healthy habit development • Strength & conditioning • Return to activity & sport • Movement education & injury prevention
